6/11/2023 0 Comments Em client emailhow long that should take? the first time it did not take long? Lastly if you don’t see a progress bar in Show Operations and clicking refresh button does nothing, close and reopen eM Client and / or reboot your computer and try again. Note: Also if you have any “optionally installed” (non OS) Antivirus email scanning running realtime, those can sometimes slow email clients receiving mail, so try temporarily disabling email scanning in the Antivirus program if you have anything like that optionally installed. That will give you an indication how long left. If you have a eg: very large mailbox on the server, the initial sync to eM Client might take alot lot longer depending on the size of your mailbox.Ĭlick the dropdown “on the right of the refresh button top left” in eM Client, and click “Show Operations” to see how the progress is going. I did and the emails is synching for 10 hours now. So make sure you have removed your old office 365 account first which could be why. You can only have 2 accounts for free / personal use. It says I have multiple accounts and I don’t and now I cannot add another account and have to buy Pro There has just been new Windows 10 big updates in the last week. You first “remove your old account” and then re-add your same office 365 exchange account via the “Automatic email wizard” setup. So also check for any Windows updates and do them if available. Lastly if removing and re-adding your email account still has a problem sending, then you might have some sort of Windows 10 issue. You can see when the backup is completed via “Menu / Operations”. Note: If you do remove and re-add your account, backup first via "Menu / Backup. Now if they say everything is fine their end and you have the correct SMTP settings, then if you have an IMAP, Exchange, Office 365 or iCloud account, then try removing and re-adding your account via the automatic email wizard in “Menu / Accounts” and see if that fixes the problem. I would suggest to contact your SMTP server tech support via phone or website to see if they have any current problems, and also to check your SMTP settings incase they have changed. If you and your friends have not changed any email account settings and it’s just happened, I suspect then it’s some server related issue or a possible change on the server end in the SMTP settings. GUIStatus_Exception_Reported = and my friends having same issue last three days, before that everything worked fine. All seemed to go well - no warning messages - but still emails won’t send. I rebooted the computer, then uninstalled and reinstalled eM Client. I tried Repair twice, and received a message each time that a certain ‘cabinet file’ wasn’t installed. They send from the Outlook app on my iPad, but not from the desktop. I have Windows 10 on a desktop computer, and use eM Client for handling MS Outlook emails.Īll has been fine for a very long while, however emails have refused to Send for the last couple of days.
